Quinoa and Fenugreek Sticks

100g raw quinoa (white or tricolour)

50g oats

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

2 teaspoons fenugreek powder

2 tablespoons EVOO

Salt and pepper

Zest and juice from ½ a lemon

 

Rinse and cook quinoa according to package instructions (in our case 200ml water for 12-15min).

Once cooked, add in the remaining ingredients.

Add another 150-200ml water and cook for another 5-7 mins until the oats become mushy and act like a glue.

Let the dough cool.

Using your hands, form the dough into sticks (you should be able to make 20-25 sticks).

Transfer to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for about 30 mins, turning around halfway through.

Serve with your favourite dip.
